1. Platform Fees

BuySellManga charges a 13% transaction fee on the total sale price (item + shipping) of every completed order. Payment processing fees (Stripe) are deducted separately at cost.

Example: a $20.00 sale → $2.60 platform fee → seller nets $17.40 minus processing.

2. Tracked Shipping (Required)

• All orders require tracked shipping. No exceptions.
• Tracking must be added to the order within 48 hours of purchase.
• Orders over $50: tracked + insured. Orders over $250: signature confirmation required.
• Single manga volumes ship via USPS Media Mail. You may purchase labels directly through the platform.

3. Escrow & Payouts

• BuySellManga holds 100% of buyer funds at checkout.
• Funds release to the seller 24 hours after delivery confirmation.
• Payouts batch every Monday and Thursday via direct deposit (1–3 business days to land).
• Disputed orders: funds frozen until resolution.

4. Seller Obligations

• You must physically possess every item you list. No drop-shipping.
• Use the correct volume/edition page and honest condition grade:
  • New — sealed/unread, perfect.
  • Like New — read once, no visible wear.
  • Very Good — light shelf wear, spine uncreased.
  • Good — noticeable wear, spine creases, no missing pages.
  • Acceptable — heavy wear, possible library stamps, all pages intact.
• Ship within 48 hours. Respond to buyers within 2 business days.
• Honor your listed price — no canceling because the market moved.

5. Buyer Protection

• Claims may be opened within 30 days of expected delivery for non-arrival or not-as-described.
• Condition disputes: partial refund per grade step (~10% per step), or return for full refund (seller pays return shipping).
• Counterfeit/bootleg manga = immediate termination.

6. Seller Levels

• Level 1: 100 active listings, $1,000 total value cap.
• Level 2: 500 listings/day, $5,000 total (11+ orders, 85%+ feedback).
• Level 3: 50,000 listings, $100,000 total (51+ orders, 90%+ feedback).
• Level 4: Unlimited + bulk tools.

7. Prohibited

Counterfeit, stolen, or infringing goods. Shill buying. Off-platform transactions to evade fees.

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account for violations, fraud, or repeated complaints. Held funds release per the normal escrow schedule minus dispute holds.

9. Taxes

Sellers handle their own taxes. 1099-K forms issued as required by law.
